It's with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have to say that Bella has not fallen pregnant and there are no puppies due from us this year.
No one is more upset than us, we are truly gutted and heartbroken 💔
Thanks all for your interest and best of luck with your dogs 🐶
Charlotte & Pamela x
The girls and I went for a lovely walk down at Burleigh Sands the other day, if you are ever in the Kinross area I would highly recommend the Loch Leven Heritage Trail, it is a lovely walk with lots of wildlife, we even managed to see a Heron.
I stopped for a minute to admire Bella's current shape, chunkier than normal, heavier than normal... all due to potential puppies, but she still has such a lovely complexion, and she is GLOWING - her coat is sooooo shiny!! She is just perfect, carries her tail well, has a nice structure and is totally in proportion, every day I find a new way to be in love with my baby <3
So here is a heart warming photo of Bella at just 1 week old 😍❤️ so precious being able to see this photo since she didn't come to us until 16 months. Beautiful baby.
Bella loves to snuggle, she loves nothing more than to jump onto the bed or onto my lap to have a cuddle. Such an affectionate little girl with so much love to give. Just look at those eyes! She is taking it easy for the next week weeks...
Love was most certainly in the air for Bella and Colt on Friday 25th August 2017 :)
Now a waiting game to see what happens in about eight weeks time (October). Everything is very tightly crossed for these two.
They are such a beautiful pair - just look at those eyes! They even had a romantic fire place in the background <3
We don't know quite how old you were or exactly what happened before you came to us, all we know is that in the 3 years 10 months we had you you were the happiest girl in your retirement home with us 💜 living every day to the full, pottering around the farm, chasing the motor bikes and playing with your ball ⚾️
Charlotte had dreamt of a collie for years and you were perfect, in every way, shape and form 💜
Rest in Peace precious old lady , forever in our hearts 💜💜
Hello, important announcement today :)
Due to unforeseen circumstances I have made the decision to change who I am using on Bella, but I am sure that no one will be disappointment with this gorgeous boy.
Can CH Kinvaar Son of a Gun - Colt
This gorgeous tri colour boy will now be the mate for Bella's litter this year, he is very eye catching, has lovely movements and has the softest facial expression - very typical Cavalier. I am absolutely in love with him and also his offspring which have inherited not only his good looks, but his good health and his incredibly soft nature.
Colt is very successful in the Breed ring and has competed all over the world, he competed in Canada for a while and while he was there earned Champion status. Something that his owner is very proud of and I am honoured to be able to use him on Bella.
I feel like he will compliment her nicely and we will now have the possibility of a mix of colours. His strong tri colour makes him exceptionally eye catching and very beautiful.
The puppies from this litter will be happy, active and free flowing dogs with a love for life and will be eager to please.
I cannot wait to see what is in store for Bella and Colt, hurry up Bella's season!
If you have any questions or are interested in a puppy from this litter please do not hesitate to contact me via the contact page, you can also find more information on this litter at the Puppies tab.
Wow... Bella is the absolute dog of my dreams and we have achieved everything that I ever wanted to achieve in agility with her.
- made it to Championship lever
- represented the UK at an abroad championship
- represented Scotland at the World Championships
- achieved her Stud Book Number
This was just amazing. We achieved this at Woodside Championship Show in May this year where we came third in the Championship Final. This was a great achievement and I am so proud of my little girl for achieving this. It is a very well looked upon achievement and I am so grateful that I have been able to do it with my best friend.
Wow, a long overdue post I know but here we are! A lot been going on in the last few months! So lets start with our experience at World Agility Open Championships 2017, held in Holland.
So Bella and I made the trip over the water, Bella's second time abroad, to Holland and we had a great time. Bella was a gem, sound in the car all the way and chill the whole time we were there.
We had five runs over three days of competition and I must say my precious little dog exceeded my expectations, she ran her little legs off for me and I couldn't honestly not be any more proud of her! Bella was amazing, the only mistakes we made were of course handler error and it was me that let Bella down :( she did everything I asked of her and more. We did not have any individual placings but I have now got a structured plan before we can hopefully try out again this year or next... due to a slight pause in her career ;)... Unfortunately I don't have any of our competition runs on video due to the fact that we were not allowed to take our own videos as they had a professional videographer who was charging for copies.
We had a great time, saw some AMAZING partnerships and it was an honour to compete amongst such great handlers.
If you click the link below you should be able to see the photo album from Holland, if you cannot see it through the link then please search for 'Glenheart Dogs' on Facebook and our page will come up with the album.
I absolutely TREASURE this moment below that was captured before one of our competition runs in Holland. Just LOVE the my heart pendant between us and just the love. My most perfect little girl has given me absolutely everything and I love her to the moon and back.
As part of Agility Team Scotland, Bella and I get some fantastic sponsorship!
One of our Sponsors are 'Dog Streamz' have provided every dog on the team with a SmartCollar.
DOG StreamZ collars have been shown to support:
Mobility and Stiffness
Energy levels and vitality
Sport recovery (post competition)
General happiness and condition
Bella has been wearing hers constantly apart from when we go on walks, because she usually gets filthy! It has made a difference to her and I have seen her energy levels rise as well as speeding up her recovery a few weeks ago when she went lame after a training session. She is totally fine now and I would say the collar has helped her recover faster and she is now ready to go again.
Thank you very much to Streamz and we are looking forward to seeing further benefits from the Collar and look forward to wearing your logo proudly on our tops at the World Championships in Holland, May 2017.
